Pousada Flor De Canela

During our recent stay at this cozy pousada, we were warmly welcomed by the owners and felt right at home. the location was perfect for exploring the area and we were impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms. the simple furnishings provided a comfortable atmosphere and we appreciated the attention to detail in the bathroom amenities. the breakfast buffet offered a good selection of food and drinks and we particularly enjoyed the delicious Brazilian cake prepared by the owner's wife. we had a very enjoyable stay and would highly recommend this property to others.

The only downside we experienced was the lack of a view from our room. this small detail did not detract from the overall positive experience we had at the pousada.

A bit of a walk into town..

Everything about this hotel is very cozy, you really feel like home. The breakfeast is great and the rooms are very nice and clean. The people who run it are very friendly, you won't be disappointed.

What a cozy and welcoming place! We spent a weekend in the heart of a beautiful mountain town. The amenities offered were impressive, from the delicious buffet breakfast, with a great variety of food and drinks, to the clean and simple furnished rooms. The location was perfect, as we didn't have to drive around much to go sightseeing and had easy access to nearby shops and restaurants. Another plus was the friendly staff, always available to assist us in anything. Finally, we had a relaxing time enjoying the beautiful mountain views from the room balcony.

Despite all the advantages this hotel has to offer, the lack of air conditioning in the rooms could be bothersome during the summer months. there wasn't a pool available to cool off on hotter days, which could have been a nice touch.

The warm welcome from the owners was great. They were very hospitable and made us feel at home. the complimentary birthday cake for one of us was a nice touch. We appreciated the good selection of food and drink offered at the buffet breakfast. the rooms were well-maintained and clean.

The furnishing in the room was quite simple, and it was lacking in certain amenities such as a mini-fridge or microwave. the location of the hotel was a bit far from the city center, so we had to take taxis to get around.
